Marisa Burgos-Martinez, ARNP Currently Francisca is the walk-in provider at Sea Mar Seattle and Nurse Practitioner Preceptor. The time there taught her of the great need for compassionate and dynamic care for people experiencing homelessness. She previously received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University. She is very excited to explore Washington and go whale-watching. While pursuing her doctorate, she served as a teaching assistant for her university. The NP residency leadership team welcomed Lindsey Anagnostopoulos, former NP residency graduate, as Everett Site Director in 2019, and Margaret Boyle as Tacoma Site Director in 2020. Binisha is part of the core Everett faculty and may cover occasional Seattle precepting shifts. Lori Weller graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University and worked as an RN for several years in the NICU, as a Labor and Delivery nurse, and in Home Health. In addition, she has experience as a clinical resource for nursing staff in critical care and stroke protocol. She loves her family, traveling, skiing, hiking, soccer, and mostly, exploring the beauty in this world through the eyes of her two children. Emina Polovina Bayomy A native of Montana, Brooke enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, particularly hiking, skiing, and bicycling. Rebecca Nebel graduated with a Master’s degree in nursing from Seattle University in 2013 and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP. Growing up as a second-generation Muslim, Indian American in eastern North Carolina, he came to appreciate the intersection of different cultures, and is always looking to gain knowledge and insight from others. With the incredible support of the Sea Mar organization and surrounding community, Sea Mar’s Family Nurse Practitioner Residency has become a successful and highly-esteemed post-graduate training program. Her commitment to community health stems from years of working with underserved populations domestically and abroad. She is looking forward to improving her NP skills and Spanish fluency through Sea Mar’s nurse practitioner residency program. Tacoma Medical She has been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Sea Mar’s Behavioral Health Clinic in Tacoma since 2017. Prior to her career in nursing, Chelsa received a BA in Kinesiology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. In 2015, Francisca returned home to be close to friends and family, and started to serve the community that inspired her to become a clinician. He came to Sea Mar after completing a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She believes that access to high-quality, affordable and comprehensive healthcare is a human right which should be afforded to every person regardless of their background or ability to pay. Visiting the foster homes of medically complex children took Chelsa to all five boroughs of New York City and reaffirmed her ongoing desire to provide care among underserved communities. Following her undergraduate degree, Chelsa served a one-year AmeriCorps VISTA term coordinating the Medical Reserve Corps in a rural Oregon county. Our program offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced health care providers from a variety of disciplines including nursing, medicine, pharmacy and behavioral health. She is eager to partner with families and to improve and manage health and wellness. Fortunately, she and her family experienced the comfort of culturally competent care as a patient at Sea Mar Community Health. Wendy Mironov, ARNP Sea Mar Community Health Centers, Burien, WA, 2019-2020 Madelyn is excited to start her FNP career in Sea Mar’s residency program, where she will support her patients, colleagues, and community in the pursuit of wellness and social change. She joined Sea Mar’s Seattle medical clinic as the Medical Department & Residency Coordinator in April of 2019, and is excited to continue on as part of an organization that strives to provide care to the underserved and truly understands the impact of the social determinants of health on patients’ lives. The program launched in Fall 2012 with the addition of two ARNP residents. With over 20 Years of healthcare management experience, Amy Starr’s passion is working with a team approach to meeting the varied and often complex needs of an increasingly diverse patient population. He has a particular interest in working with underserved communities and is grateful to be part of the Sea Mar Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. Isis graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014, followed by her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020. After medical school, he obtained an master's degree in public health to better serve patients and understand the social complexities of good health. CHAS Health is an innovative non-profit organization and the inland Northwest’s largest community health center in Spokane, Washington. She is eager to learn and grow in her time here at Sea Mar and hopes to pursue a career later in the nursing field. She and her family moved from Ohio for the NP Residency and is excited to serve and continue to grow and to learn from patients, their families and their communities while working at Sea Mar.
